Diaphragm

Midwest Brake manufactures pneumatic clutch and brake diaphragms. Diaphragms are used specifically on stamping and metalforming presses as an air bladder to lock the air between chambers in a clutch or brake to actuate the clutch and brake.

Midwest Brake offers supplies these to press manufacturers for original equipment but also sells standard designs to the aftermarket.

Our diaphragms are much stronger than that of standard diaphragms. The two ply neoprene material has a burst strength of 3000 PSI and will extend the life diaphragm, thus lowering downtime and life cycle costs.
